Craig Nadeau - suggestion:

You probably need door poppers as well and don't forget to install some kind of extra cable concealed some where so that you can open the engine or other lid for when the battery goes dead and you can't get in the car!! You can store a small motor cycle battery beside the main so you can jump it and at least open your doors.

I inner door handles are OEM Lamborghini, I made the cable and ends myself to hook up to the Mercedes latch. The outer handle is included with the NAERC kit. It looks great.

The plunger lock is the trunk lock from the early VW rabbits. It was very hard to install but does present the OEM look.

Inner door latch

This is the little part I had to make. It has a hole in the end 1/16 to insert the cable and in other end a .120 hole that attaches to the OEM handle.

Here is a picture of the door handles I bought from I.F.G

I will be using door poppers, but I still want some place on the door that I can grab.
