I was at the Boston World of Wheels show and Donald Trump’s car that has been on E-Bay recently was there. I was able to get some pictures of glass.

The top of the glass is beveled, I never noticed this in any other pictures.

I wanted to test the fit of the glass in the right door.

Laying the window glass on the door, I could see why a lot of builders can't get the glass to move below the window frame, and it extends up around 2" above the top of the frame.

John Heaven wrote me: In reference to the windows sticking up 2 inches, this is NORMAL ! The real 1991 Lamborghini Diablo window does the same exact thing. If the window goes all the way down this is a dead give away that it is a kitcar.
Here are a few photos of the glass laying on the outside
This is the window sticker from AGP for the right window... just in case anyone need to know the part number. I talked to Jeanine Matz with American Glass Products (Phone: 865-675-0525)

These are photos and comments from other builders about there door solenoid methods.

Roadster

Here is the door with the outer skin off.

If I was an extremist, I could have had the door glass trimmed at the bottom.

This would allow it to go deeper into the door, as it stands when it is fully lowered there is about 2.5 inches above the sill still exposed, I think I can gain another .5 by trimming some excess material away.

Here is where it all comes together. Nice tight windshield, the roof fits well and the door and door glass come right up to where they belong. I think that they really did their homework on this part of the kit.

Door to Roof Gap

This was really nice to see after some of the concerns that I have see with other builds. It is abit tought to discern but there is a .25 or less gap from the glass to the roof. The molding will easily cover this gap and look fabulous.
