| Body - Glass Information |

Below is a document I thought you might be interested in. Its from the
AGP glass company. I didnt realize how affordable they actually were until
It was posted on the forum.
I originally bought a set of Sebring side glass and was going to have
them cut down If possible. I paid $40.00 ea. for them. There is no way
that I could possibly buy used glass and then have it cut for the $85.00
price of the AGP glass. |

Here's a tip that will help allow the glass to be lowered further into the door: if you are using AGP glass you can cut down the rear corner more. Measure (on the glass) about an inch below where the glass meets the door side panel. The rear (thick) end of the glass has a champfer or angle cut out. Increase this angle by cutting away that edge higher up the window to about 1-2 inches from door panel edge (where you would install the rubber water wiper along the side). The glass has a tendency to hit the inside of the door at this edge. Cut away more and the glass can be lowered further into the door. But go to an auto glass shop to have them grind that edge down. |
