Here are a few photos of my windshield resting on the body as a test fit, my windshield is a good fit.

I talked to Jeanine Matz with American Glass Products (Phone: 865-675-0525) to get a part number and a price.

FW-1174 - Diablo Windshield ($300.00 is the price that was quoted to me on 9/02)

The next set of photos are to show Rick Page how my windshild fits, both windshields and car body's came from CRP

These are photos and comments from other builders about there installation methods.

There is a detailed "manual" that Dale has created for you to view (in regards to this section). This instruction manual is on how he built his IFG Phantom Roadster. (click on his logo to visit his web site)

Test fit the windshield and make sure you have a good fit all around. Check the clearance on the doors when they open. I had to grind a little off of the inner panel to avoid rubbing. Make sure you have clearance for the wiper motor so it doesn't hit the glass. I marked the edge along the bottom where the glass would set with masking tape. I used butyl window tape (3/8") and laid a ribbon around the opening. Hind sight I wish I would have put a metal clip along the bottom edge to prevent the windshield from slipping down. Not sure that it will but I don't want it to hit the wiper motor arm. I hurried because the weather was turning colder. I should have used a heat lamp and taken a little more time.

Luis A. Yanez - (Hector's Project)

This is a photo of a CRP body with his windshield area overhaul. Apparently his windshield did not fit his CRP body (like Rick Page's).

Craig Nadeau - Roadster

Here is where it all comes together. Nice tight windshield, the roof fits well and the door and door glass come right up to where they belong. I think that they really did their homework on this part of the kit.
