Getrag (all beefed-up)

Sold the car I was working on... I hope to start again soon!

Influences: First, Duncan's Diablo Forum for getting me in touch with all the other great people who have helped me tremendously. Also, a HUGE thanks to Robert Proulx (Shaddoe) @ Exotic Glass. Fletch for his awesome website, Dale in Austin (for the local Lone Star 'build inspiration') and every single person who has ever posted info on one of the various Lambo sites!

Career: Regional Territory Manager in the Residential & Commercial Security / Fire Alarm Business. I have been in the field for over 15-years. I have owned my own companies, and honestly, have covered every facet of residential & commercial burglar and fire alarm systems. Currently, I specialize in 3rd party monitoring service. We provide monitoring services for independent alarm companies. We charge them to monitor your home or business, then they mark-up the monthly monitoring and bill you for it.

Education: BBA in Management from Northwood University (some of you guys from Michigan have probably heard of Northwood?)

Marital Status: Single (I had a 'practice wife' about 3 1/2 years agoJ ), but seriously involved with the best woman that ever strolled through DFW! She is a true supporter of ANY of my crazy projects.

Hobbies: Where do I start? Let's just say: ALL THE EXPENSIVE ONES! I just recently added a large room and bathroom addition to my home, which saved me about $50,000 by doing it all myself, while adding a TON of value to my home. This has consumed a lot of my time, but my current project is my Lambo build. I am also a Private Pilot. Talk about a fun hobby! If you have never done it, flying a private aircraft is truly unreal. I also enjoy Hunting (which honestly consumes a great deal of my time right now), fishing, hacking….I mean golfing, and building radio-controlled aircraft. My motto has always been: "If you can build it, then do so, without buying it". My grandfather was an authorized Cessna dealer and rebuilder, and seeing him take a Cessna that had been in a tornado, crash, etc., and then rebuild it to 100%? Let's just say I learned many things about how to overcome problems, improvise on tools by making things yourself, and attention to detail.

Summary: My dad is also into custom cars. He is in the final stages of a Hummer replica (T-REX kit), so my Lambo build along side his project has been a great deal of fun. We lease a really nice 1500' shop that we use for our build projects. It has been a great thing being able to pursue my Lambo build, while at the same time getting to hang out with my dad.

Side note from Fletch: Gary sold his kit to Casey Tevebaugh
