Career: I have worked in and around the automotive industry all of my life. I worked in a rebuilder shop growing up were we rebuilt theft recovered vettes, porsches, and others. While going to college I worked in Kansas city doing custom stereo design and installs. I also spent some time working at a GM dealership as a salesman, were I learned I just wasn’t cut out to try and get someone to buy something they didn’t want. (In other words I’m a crappy liar). I left there and began building complete custom show cars for several companies, including Goodyear, Flowmaster, DEI, and Brembo. Eventually I went into building Ferrari replicas, including 2 355’s, 2 F-40, 3 512M’s, and 3 F-50’s, before I was shut down. I currently work as a consulting engineer for Delphi Automotive were I do design work for over 20 different auto manufacturers, in addition to running my shop.

Hobbies: Absolutely anything to do with cars. I build scale model cars, collect hotwheels, diecast cars, race go-carts, and customize anything on wheels that I own. My wife calls it a sickness, I almost agreed when I built a turbocharged ’93 ford tempo.

A final note: Though Delphi keeps me extremely busy I enjoy because I work with so many different automakers and I get paid to travel to manufacturing plants and see the cars being built. I’m moving into a new shop this fall that will give me a lot more room plus an additional engineering facility to stress test new chassis designs in. And absolutely none of this would be possible without my wife Talisa, who can put up with me being in the shop until the middle of the night (or sometimes morning).
