Final Note: I have rebuilt many of my cars because of necessity and some of my cars for fun but have always wanted to build a car from scratch. I wanted it to be two seat, very low, and mid-engined. When the opportunity came along to build this Diablo, I couldn’t say no. Now I am among the few who experience the agony and ecstasy of building one of these fantastic cars. As if this isn’t enough of a challenge, I am adding custom features to make my Diablo special. Some of the features are a glove box with a motorized open and close drive, dual articulated battery boxes under the headlights, an enclosed compartment behind the front trunk for my amps that will reveal the amps when lighted from inside, cooling fans that take air from the rocker scoops and force it through the engine compartment to help cool the exhaust, and a power operated engine deck lid. I also designed the recessed gauge assembly for the Diablo instrument panel that duplicates the real Lambo.
