City, State: Plano (Dallas), TX

Type of car: 6.0
Body: IFG
Chassis: 88 Fiero
Engine: GM 3800 Supercharged
Transmission: 4 sp auto 4T-65E
Starting date: January, 1 2003
Projected finish date: May 15, 2005

Influences: I want to build an exotic sports car since I can't buy one. I would like it to be streetable and powerful yet economic to drive daily. I would also like to run it in the high speed race both in TX & NV but only at 130mph (at least initially). I have a busted back, so I'm going auto. I have a brand new 2003 3800 SC from ACE & kit. Engine mods I've made-cam, ported & polished heads, manifold & exhaust, 3.25" SC pulley, DHP computer-later, throttle body spacer, 180 thermostat, K&N, 2.5" exhaust, Flowmaster, Monza resonator tip, Spal fan. I'm thinking of using a GTR style duct-front bumper for the radiator. Body-IFG next year (down payment last year). Considering Camaro seats to have more comfort & support. I have Michelin Pilot Sport tires, went slightly taller in front-great deal from TireRack. I made Koni coilovers on rear, poly, & Held wide track front end later. I plan on adding a Merkur power steering rack.

Occupation: airline pilot

Hobbies: building & fixing stuff, computers

About Me: Former USAF fighter pilot-F-111, T-37 IP. I was an American Airline's Captain but due to downsizing now a copilot on the 777, so I had to put the car on a diet due to the pay cuts. I am raising 2 teen girls alone. Sorry guys they may be pretty, but they are too young for ya'll!

I haven't built a car up since souping up a '67 Camaro in high school. I drive an old Stealth that's very fun, & haul teenyboppers in a minivan. My 16 year old gets my Stealth at graduation, so I've got to get rolling on the Diablo.
