John Wunderlin email: lambo_sv_dreamin@hotmail.com Type of car:
SV
Influences: There
is one saying that my old mountain bike racing coach used to say "
Gotta want it ". You have to apply that saying to this type of a
project or you will have just another incompleted project on e-bay. Occupation: Machine shop foreman, also in charge of estimating, purchasing etc. ( many hats ) Hobbies: Hockey, Mountain Biking, Motorcycles About Me: I actually started dreamin about replica Lamborghinis back in the mid to late 80's. I was at a horse show in Colombus Ohio, state fair grounds, and there was a replica show across the street. I saw a white Countach there and was amazed. When I went to collage at the University of Arizona I seen a real Countach and my heart started to pump again. I raced motorcycle road coarse from 1987-1995 achieved expert class status. Married my supportive and understanding wife in 1991 our first boy was born in 1995. At that point I decided I no longer had the desire to push myself to the limit racing motorcycles, end of racing. Became boared very quickly, started mountain bike racing in 1995 and shortly later achieved expert class status also started to bicycle roadrace. Our second boy was born and I no longer had the time to train as hard as I needed to, end of mountain bike racing. Then about 1999 I came across a web page with some
Countach replicas and my new desire started. We took a family trip to
Carisle in 2000. We were going to see Allan and his Euroworks Countach,
I met Jason Jones that year he was
also deciding on a car. I thought we were settled with the Euroworks Countach
but then Darrell Kirban rolled out the Devil in the Blue Dress car, and
my wife fell in love with that car. If you are after a Countach Euroworks
has the best. In 2000 our third boy was born I also built my workshop
and started to design and build my V-8 conversion. Well three years later
and we have our D&R SV kit. I have a comletion dream date of 7-4-04.
