Notes - Knott's Berry Farm 2002 - Chameleon

This is the "Cheamelon" built by Jim Michaud, the custom paint job on this car is unbelievable. As you move around this car the color of the paint changes. The body was originally from D&R and Jim took it to the limits of redesign. The dash was an idea of his when he that he got from manifold. For more information on a this paint job call Jim at 623-465-5270.

It is hard to appreciate the paint job without actually see it in person, as you move around this car the color of the paint changes. I tried to capture this by walking around the front headlight of the car, you can see how much the color changes.

Note from Fletch - I wrote Jim and asked him what he used for his door boot and this is the information that Jim gave me:

I used a boot from a 1998 chrysler sebring. It comes from the bucket seat. It covers up the pivot point when the back of the
seat moves forward but you can see it when you open the door. There about $43.00 each.

I just came from Jims place and you are right about the front hood on this car. It is molded into the car as well as the front bumper. Jim custom built this like all his other pieces. The new car he built makes this one look very mild in comparison. Jim is a true artist.
