This car was built by Steve at Triangle-G, but the car is now owned by Raiph Remsburg. At the Knotts 2002 show it won first place last year.

This year I won third place in the $10,000 to $20,000 category.

Ralph wrote me this:

Steve at Triangle G says that he made the molds, but I'm not sure that's true, although he may know someone who made the molds. The fiberglass body may be from Exotic Rebodies, because they show a photo of the car on their website. There was a Diablo roadster body at the Knott's show and they were saying it was from the same mold as my car. It was very inexpensive; I think he was trying to sell it for around $3,500. I don’t know how much work it would take to make that body roadworthy, but if the fiberglass isn’t too bad, and both bodies are really from the same mold, I think it’s a pretty good deal. My car won 1st place at last year’s Knott’s show so whoever’s fiberglass it is, it cleans up nice.

I've had a lot of problems with the car as a result of the quality of the build. I think the frame is also bent. I was told the chassis and motor had about 44,000 miles, but when I went to register the car, the state records showed that it had over 144,000. I was also told that the brakes and suspension had been rebuilt recently, but that wasn't true either.

Just wanted to clear up a few things. I think it'll be a great car after I spend another $10,000 on it. That will bring my total investment to about $75,000. I should have just bought a turnkey from Shaddoe. Live and learn!
