Lamborghini only build 20 Monterey Edition cars exclusively for 1998, and this car is #1 of 20. The SV (Sport Veloce) includes direct air scoops which ride behind the roofline, helping the car to produce 510HP, 20 more than standard VTs, as well as the omission of the VT all wheel drive system. This extra power and the weight savings of rear wheel drive allow the SV to reach a quoted top speed of 204 mph. Many feel the SV to be the ultimate Lamborghini, with exceptional power, driveability, and the purity of rear wheel drive. |
