Chassis - Fiero - Chassis

Dale "doc" Smith

8/3/03 - I went to Allentown home of D&R on 2 occasions before buying their roadster. I had my fiero at that time and wanted to build as much as I could before bringing the body home. I took a big bunch of digital photos on each trip to supplant the measurements I took so I could keep building. Here are many of the photos I took of Rick's turnkey he was working on. Subsequently, the buyer of the turnkey changed engine specs and they cut the whole rear end off to accommodate the V12 in a different frame suspension.

I have a lot more close ups of the various important areas as well as the measurements. I realized however you can only go so far without the body before you have to have it on so that you don't weld a ton of stuff in place and find one tiny little starting measurement was off by 1/2 ". When I got my body home thank goodness I was on the money for what I had done. PICS of my project soon.
