My tubular chassis has a NASCAR 22-gallon fuel cell is loacted in the front truck area. I think there are Pros & Cons about this idea.

Here are some pictures of the Gas tank that was fabricated from NAERC plans. More pictures can be found at http://www.lambobuilder.com/edb/Chassis/GasTank/index.htm that shows how we mocked it up and then had the pieces cut and then we did the final welds.

We figured out the Gas tank holds 24.5 gallons. (Precise measurement using a gallon milk jug 24.5 times)
