Message from Fletch - this is not an advisement - I am just posting information for you builders to look at and judge for yourself.
I welcome all manufactures to send information and photos to this website. -fletch

From NAERC (Ken Esler): If you don't mind I would like you to set the people straight on the NAERC 6.0 wheels weigh 35 lbs on the front and 45 lbs on the rear. This is 5 lbs heavier then the original on the front and 7 lbs. heavier on the rear. They are a one piece cast wheel.

This is why they weigh a little more then the Roadster wheels. To make a magnesium 6.0 wheel the mold costs are 21,000 USD for the front and 21,000 USD for the rear.

The Roadster wheels weigh 30 lbs on the front and 35 lbs on the rear. I am coming out with a new three piece Roadster wheel in the next month or so. It will weigh less and will be made with a forged center. Chrome centers and rims will be an option we will be offering on the Roadster wheels at that time.

18" 2001 6.0 Replica painted wheels. Exactly the same as the originals. (set of 4)
Part Number: R-0080 - Retail Price: $3,999.00

Here is a pic of my New wheels. Not exactly replicas but they look close to the diablo style. I got the wheels from sporttruck.com They are custom ordered to fit any vehicle. The wheels are made by Boyd Coddington. (American Hotrod). 2 piece exclusive series wheels.

Here are a set of chrome Murciélago wheels on a friends car.

I got these on e-bay. I learned a lesson from a friend of mine. He needed wheels as we all do. A set or real roadster wheels came on e-bay with tires starting at $1500 which started moving up. Rather than bid on them he called the lister and asked how much he wanted outright to end the auction. They agreed on $2500 and the deal was done. I was jealous and envious all at once. Now if you consider a new set of P 0's cost 800+ and you deduct that from the wheels you would have to say the wheels cost $1700 for the real thing.

The Murc wheels went on e-bay for $2200 with tires. So in like methodology I called and offered him 3k and he took it. so if you deduct the 800+ for the P 0's you now have Murc wheels for $22. Since I already have a set of Dunlop's I paid $865 for I'm now trying to sell them for $600. So the moral of story is you can have real Lambo wheels and tires for a lot less than replica and get the tires also if you don't let the auction go to completion.

I sure wish that was available a while ago, since we have the wheels everyone will now have them.

This is a picture of my Compomotive wheel rims. My color scheme of the car will be Black with gold pin striping. I wanted the wheel rims of the car to match this scheme. The centers are powder coated in gold with black anodized rim bolts and lug nuts. However, Compomotive sent me the large caps. I wanted the small ones. They will send me the correct ones when they become available. But that may be academic since I plan on fabricating caps that are flush with the center - like the real caps.

Duncan's - Rear Wheels

I picked up those Michelin Pilot MXX3 335/35/17s and a pair of 235/40/17's (the 235's will work just fine) from Tire Rack. Great deal.

North American Exotics Wheels 17" they were made by a company in Edmonton that is trying to market them as well under the name Canadian Custom Design. I think they are starting to make them now in Vancouver and move away from the Edmonton Company.

The wheels are okay. They are only 2 piece welded so you can't make any changes later to the off set. The 17" wheels are only 11" so it very hard to slip the 13" at the bead tires on but they look reasonable when mounted.

I checked on having the wheel widened and there is a place here in Calgary that does it regularly and the cost was only $150 CDN each to add two inches. The 18" wheels they sell are wider (they use 2 barrels welded together) but are correspondingly more expensive. They came with center pieces with the bull on it - looks pretty good. Buy wheels cautiously, a stock Fiero chassis with a Diablo body will not handle the OEM size wheels and tires under the fender - they rub on the springs and go outside the fender. (Lou Diluzio who is building an Exotic Rebodies Diablo tried my wheels on his car and they would not fit at all, there was just not enough clearance. He is going to use a 20" by 10" aftermarket wheel instead).

A three piece wheel is always superior to a 2 piece, when the center is welded in it is difficult to ensure perfection and most are machined later to make them straight. I have had to send mine back because they were about ¼ inch wobble.

The wheels are polished 18" Replica Diablo Roadster wheels from North American Exotic Replica Cars.

Lamborghini logo valve stem caps (not pictured), $12.50, from eBay.

Finding a place to mount 13" wide 18" tires and balance them, additional work and cost. ;-)

Hey, Just thought id send you these shots of my wheels..well wheel. I finally got one back from being powder coated. One wheel had a bunch of bubbles in the finish so it is being redone, and the rears had some runs in them. Never the less the guy is taking care of it. I was able to bring home this front one which is pretty good. Notice i don't say perfect...;)...nothing is.... but here are the pics... I wish they were a touch brigher..but they may brighten up with some sun (rainy day).

My tire sizes are 235/40zr17 and 315/35/zr17. It is some very wild looking tread design.

Just wanted to send in some pics of my Compomotive VT rims. I weighed the rims and the front weight was 25 lbs and the rear was 26-1/2 lbs.
