Electrical Terminals
I'm starting on the elctrical system of the car. I decided to trash the stock Fiero wiring harness for a system from Painless. However, I'm doing something unique in that I'll be splitting the electrical system into 2 load centers. The rear trunk will have a Painless 8-circuit racing unit (with relays) to control all the motors in the engine compartment. The remaining system will be controlled by the interior fuse box. The wiring terminals are for the rear circuit. To keep the terminals relatively cool, I made a cover/heat shield. The insert picture shows the cover in place. I'm also making terminals for all the sensors in the engine compartment (e.g. water temp, oil press. oil temp, speedo, tach, etc.)
Rear Trunk Electrical
Looks like I'm not going to fit any groceries in this trunk! The rear portion of the car's electrical system is now complete. The load center is a Painless 8-circuit race car harness. It controls all the power to the various motors in the engine compartment. Also in the picture is my engine instrument terminal box. All the sensors from the engine and transmission are routed to this junction box. From here, a single harness will be routed to the passemger compartment and to the various and sundry gauges.
