These are photos and comments from other builders about there Gas Shocks.

I know for the front hood you need a 9" shock (that is what they told me). This is a picture that I have of a Lamborghini.

This picture shows how the front truck decklid is supported. I had to swap the 20 lb gas springs with 60 lb gas springs. When I did my calculations, I forgot the angle at which the shocks were directing the force. But as you can see, the new springs are doing the job.

This is a close look at the Normont gas springs. Don't be deceived by their small size, these springs can provide up to 100 pounds force.

I used the Fiero trunk support and adapted it to the trunk lid. It was necessary to cut a new stop point for the catch as the diablo trunk opened differently than the Fiero.

Front Hood - I finally installed my gas shocks and hood latch.

I got my front gas shocks from Pick a Parts for $5 a shock I will have to go back down there and find out what year and make of the car.
I look forward to seeing you at the Knott's show this week end.
