In these photos you can see the center part that makes the center console, these are the parts that I got with my CRP kit

This is the before I started to cut up the center console (I had to patch up all the air pockets).

I cut out the center section to gain more room for the console components.

I added in the switch unit and the AC unit, onto a piece of 1/8" masonite.

I covered the masonite with piece of black laminate formica, I used some contact cement to glue it down.

These are photos and comments from other builders about there installation methods.

There is a detailed "manual" that Dale has created for you to view (in regards to this section). This instruction manual is on how he built his IFG Phantom Roadster. (click on his logo to visit his web site)

This is a front and back view of my center console cluster. It is made of 16 ga. plate cut to fit the console area. I cut a hole for the original Fiero heat & A/C control. and for the old Fiero power mirror rocker. The rocker fits nice and flush on the plate - being the same thickness as the plate. Missing is a radio. I decided to go with a "Secret Stereo" system. The unit is hidden and a control unit will be mounted to an overhead console I will make. The unit also comes with a VCR-like remote so I don't have to move around to hit switches.

The gauges on the console are:
o Side Fuel Tank Level
o Trans Temp
o Trans Pressure
o Engine Vacuum
o Amps

The gauges on the cluster are:
o Speedo
o Tach
o Center Fuel Tank Level
o Water Temp
o Oil Temp
o Oil Pressure
o Volts
The console switches include:
o L/R Power Windows
o Power Door Locks
o Headlight Door
o Headlights
o Parking Lights
o Inner Fog Lights
o Outer Fog Lights
o Power Front Trunk Release
o Engine Comp Release
o Rear Decklid Release
o Wing Flap Elevation
There a 4 more switches which will be mounted on an overhead console I will make:
o Preluber Pump
o Water Pump Override
o Trans Oil Pump
o Spare
