I was at the Boston World of Wheels show and Donald Trump’s car that has been on E-Bay recently was there. I was able to get some pictures of roof latches.

Top firewall side roof latch.

This is the inner roof over center latch. Notice the leather strap and the snap to hold the handle back when the roof is off.

To completed the top release mechanism I used the original Fiero door handles and modified them to accept two cables.

One for the roof release over the rear window and one for the roof release on the motor deck lid. One on each side of the car will release that sides roof.
