These are photos of the deck lid as I received it from CRP. The bottom side is NOT finished.

You can see how thin the fiber glass is, there is a inconstancy in thickness with this part.
Here are some photos of how this deck lid DOES NOT match the contour lines of the engine cover (deck lid)

The real deal - This is my dads 1991 Diablo, with the optional 100bhp upgrade (210mph). This photo was taken after I removed all the moulds.

Exhaust cover (REMOVED)
The was exhaust cover was very easy to remove, no stopping me now!!!

This is what a genuine exhaust cover looks like on the underside.


Exhaust cover flanged - This shows the flanges fitted, ready to lay-up the mould.

No going back now - The exhaust cover has been applied with release wax, gelcoat and csm. Note ribs have been added to ensure mould retains correct shape.

This is the first exhaust cover to come out of the mould.
