| There is a detailed "manual" that Dale has created for you to view (in regards to this section). This instruction manual is on how he built his IFG Phantom Roadster. (click on his logo to visit his web site) Click here to visit Dale's section on: Chapter 12 - Wing |

I started to put the bolts in the wings. I bought carrage bolts and ground them down on two sides. I made a hole in the wing to accept the slotted bolts. The inside of the wing is hollow so I am in the process of filling it with foam to reduce the amount of resin that will have to be used.. Once the cavity is filled, I will position the bolts and them fill the cavity with fiberglass resin to anchor the bolts. |

| The wing flap braces that I had made earlier looked really bad. I decided to make new ones that will not be adjustable (like I would ever really adjust the flap for performance). Anyway O used a solid steel rod, drilled out the end, welded in a 1/8" rod, then ground out 1/2 the rod for a flat surface that I drilled and tapped. Once painted, I will secure the wing flap with these new braces. | ![]() |

I chopped the legs of the wing and I still have to get the sag out of it.
